San Jose del Monte - Packaging Development Engineer

Job description

Requirements:

• Familiar with retail pack, bulk, multipack, pallet packing process
• Knowledge of packing materials and their manufacturing process (plastics, foam, carton, paper etc)
• Experience with CAD to create packaging drawings, DFM
• Setup and maintain packaging BOM (bill of material)
• Establish and maintain packaging process flow, SOP, work instruction
• Keep contact with vendor to align package material requirements
• Qualification of packaging and packing process, sample approval, testing
• Familiar with packaging labels, labelling process, shop floor system
• Be able to communicate directly with customer packing engineer
• Good sense of creating Photo FAI (Packaging SKU specification for customer approval and production use)
• Provide specifications and technical support for outsourcing vendors

Qualifications :

• Graduate of BS Engineering Course
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the related field
• Strong analytical skills and proven organizational ability
• Attention to details
• Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, excellent collaboration, and teamwork skills
• An ability to think logically and critically to weigh the various available operations and take the best decision in favor of efficient production
• Quick decision making and excellent time management skills
• Ability to act with sense of urgency as the need demand
