Customer Service Representative – Auto Insurance & Claims

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) with experience in the insurance industry, specifically in auto insurance and auto claims. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to policyholders by handling inquiries, processing claims, and guiding customers through their insurance-related concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls related to auto insurance policies and claims.
• Assist customers with filing claims, understanding coverage, and providing status updates.
• Coordinate with adjusters, underwriters, and other insurance professionals as needed.
• Review policy information and verify documentation for claims processing.
• Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Educate customers on available policy options, renewals, and claims procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of customer service experience in the insurance industry (auto insurance and claims preferred).
• Strong understanding of auto claims processing and insurance coverage terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with insurance CRM or claims management systems is a plus.
