Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution
• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and test strategy discussions
• Maintain and improve test automation pipelines within CI/CD environments
• Create and manage test data, test cases, and testing documentation
• Ensure software quality standards and best testing practices are followed
• Support manual testing activities when necessary
• Provide regular test execution reports and defect tracking updates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or Cucumber
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Experience in API testing and validation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of Git version control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
