The CAD Designer / Drafter will be responsible for creating precise 2D and 3D drawings, adhering to both industry standards and specific client requirements. The role involves close collaboration with Japanese architects, interior coordinators, and department leaders to ensure designs meet project needs.This position also involves data management, collaboration, and mentoring responsibilities within the team.
Qualifications/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Design and Development- Prepare accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings following project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with Japanese architects, sales personnel, and interior coordinators to ensure designs meet client expectations.
- Implement design revisions based on feedback and ensure final output aligns with project requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain an organized database of all AutoCAD files, including drawings, revisions, and associated documents.
- Ensure quick and efficient access to all project files for team members and stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Team Lead and Sub-Lead regarding ongoing projects.
- Actively participate in project discussions, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance design processes.
- Mentor and guide new team members, ensuring adherence to the company’s quality standards.
Offer training support to help the team maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all drawings.
Qualifications:- Proven experience in CAD design, with strong skills in 2D and 3D drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience mentoring or training team members is a plus.
- Ability to understand or speak Nihongo is a plus.
