Role Summary

The Inside Sales Executive plays a key role in acquiring and reactivating online sellers through outbound efforts, personalized engagement, and proactive follow-through. This role is focused on driving merchant growth by connecting with potential and dormant users, helping them discover the value of GoGo Xpress, and supporting them through their onboarding and activation journey.

Scope of Role
  • Reports to the Sales Supervisor
  • Handles inbound and outbound leads via calls, emails, and chat
  • Manages a daily sales pipeline via Hubspot CRM
  • Focused on App Users, Shopify Sellers, and other e-commerce platform-based merchants
  • Works closely with Marketing and Customer Service to ensure a smooth onboarding and post-sale experience
Core Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Reach out to new leads from marketing campaigns, referrals, or platform integrations
  • Qualify prospects based on seller profile, shipping volume, and service needs
  1. Sales Conversion & Onboarding
  • Conduct product walkthroughs and explain GoGo Xpress features that match seller needs
  • Guide merchants through account creation, app usage, and first transaction setup
  • Follow up on merchant activity post-onboarding to ensure activation
  1. Reactivation & Retention
  • Call inactive users to understand why they stopped transacting and offer solutions or incentives to bring them back.
  • Recommend features and services based on their previous usage behavior
  1. CRM & Reporting
  • Keep records of all interactions, outcomes, and status updates in the Hubspot CRM system
  • Ensure the pipeline is consistently updated and clean
  • Submit daily/weekly progress reports to the Sales Supervisor
  1. Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Work with Marketing to execute reactivation campaigns and promos
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to resolve onboarding friction
  • Provide seller insights to help improve merchant experience
  • Meet or exceed monthly transaction and acquisition quota
KPI Examples
  • Lead Conversion Rate: % of qualified leads converted into active users
  • New Merchant Activation: # of newly onboarded merchants who completed a first transaction
  • Reactivation Success: # of dormant users who transacted again within 30 days
  • Call-to-Connect Rate: % of successful connects from daily outbound calls
  • Hubspot CRM Hygiene: % of leads and accounts updated and tagged accurately
  • Follow-Up Rate: Avg. # of touchpoints before conversion
  • Response Time: Avg. the time from lead assignment to first contact
