Assistant Area Manager (Retail Operations)

We are looking for an Assistant Area Manager that is responsible for supervising and supporting several retail stores within Central Luzon area. This role reports to the Retail Operations Manager and helps ensure that stores operate smoothly, follow company standards, and meet sales targets.

The Assistant Area Manager works closely with store teams to improve performance, customer service, and overall operations.

Store Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Handle staffing needs including recruitment, coaching, performance monitoring, and discipline
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, product knowledge, and workplace safety
  • Conduct regular store visits to identify issues and implement improvements
  • Resolve customer concerns and operational challenges promptly
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities within assigned locations
Sales Management
  • Analyze sales performance, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Develop sales strategies and forecasts to maximize revenue and reduce costs
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports (by store and category)
  • Manage sales targets and drive store teams to meet and exceed goals
  • Recommend corrective actions to address underperforming stores or aged inventory
Product & Inventory Management
  • Coordinate with Merchandising and Supply Chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Support visual merchandising and replenishment initiatives
  • Identify and resolve inventory issues in coordination with Warehouse and Merchandising
  • Gather and report customer and market feedback
Marketing Support
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and company initiatives
People Management
  • Lead, motivate, and develop store teams across assigned locations
  • Forecast staffing needs and support recruitment strategies
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and training
  • Promote engagement, accountability, and alignment with company values
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in retail store operations (preferably fashion retail)
  • Proven experience handling multiple branches or stores
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business analysis skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people-management skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure
  • Amenable to travel within Central Luzon area
