Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and finished goods.
• Attest to the accurate and timely daily dispatching of finished goods for delivery to customers.
• Ensure that all dispatched goods match the corresponding delivery documents and are loaded securely.
• Attest to the accurate receiving of goods, including raw materials and packaging materials, from stock transfer.
• Verify the quantity and quality of received goods against purchase orders and transfer documents.
• Ensure proper documentation of all received goods and their placement in designated warehouse locations.
• Communicate stock requirements and follow up on transfer schedules.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to stock transfers.
• Implement and enforce proper inventory management procedures, including regular cycle counts.
• Oversee the accurate monthly physical inventory count of all raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
• Engage in daily collaboration with the sales team to understand delivery requirements, address any logistical concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Implement and monitor cost control measures for all distribution activities, ensuring adherence to the allocated budget.
• Coordinate with the 3rd party truck provider for all delivery requests, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
• Monitor the condition of all delivery trucks and create Job Order (JO) requests for any necessary repairs.
• Coordinate with the Engineering department for the timely completion of truck repairs
• Handles the permits and regulatory compliance of all delivery trucks.
• Supervise the schedules and activities of drivers and helpers, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP), quality standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all warehouse and logistics activities, including inventory levels, shipping documents, and equipment maintenance logs.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations and logistics.

Job Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering is required.
• Proven experience of 3-5 years in Logistics and Warehouse management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards (GMP, HACCP).
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Advantage if with Valid Driver's license.
