IT Back End Developer

About the role

Gitamondoc-Gopaoco Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Back End Developer to join our growing team. This full-time position is based in Camputhaw, Cebu City, Cebu. As an IT Back End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the back-end infrastructure that powers our innovative construction technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and efficient back-end systems and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Write clean, well-documented code adhering to best practices and design patterns
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing and deployment
• Continuously improve our back-end infrastructure by identifying and implementing optimisations
• Provide support and troubleshooting for existing systems as needed
• Share knowledge and mentor more junior team members

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Back End Developer or similar role, with 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages such as Django FastAPI, Flask or any other Python backend framework.
• Understanding of software design principles, patterns and best practices
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
