Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced GoHighLevel Expert to join our accounting firm and lead CRM automation, workflow development, and AI-powered feature implementation. This is a hands-on role for someone who not only executes at a high level but also advises — helping shape our automation strategy, building efficient workflows, and guiding the team on GoHighLevel best practices throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, configure, and continuously optimize GoHighLevel workflows and automations tailored to our specific business operations
- Set up and manage AI-powered features within GoHighLevel, including AI chatbots and automated client response systems
- Design and implement automation sequences that streamline client communication and internal operational processes
- Manage and maintain GoHighLevel sub-accounts and the overall CRM configuration
- Advise the team on GoHighLevel capabilities, new features, and emerging strategic automation opportunities
- Troubleshoot technical issues within the GoHighLevel platform and implement effective and timely solutions
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all workflows, automations, and system configurations
- Identify repetitive manual processes and recommend targeted automation solutions within GoHighLevel
- Work closely with business owners to ensure CRM strategy is fully aligned with operational goals
- Stay current on GoHighLevel platform updates, integrations, and emerging AI tools relevant to the platform
Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with GoHighLevel across workflows, automations, and full CRM management
- Proven ability to build and optimize automation sequences and sales and communication pipelines
- Strong understanding of GoHighLevel AI features including chatbot setup and end-to-end configuration
- Experience working with both agency-level and sub-account configurations
- Ability to guide and train team members on GoHighLevel tools and proven best practices
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive problem-solver who consistently takes initiative beyond assigned tasks
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting accounting firms, financial services, or professional services businesses
- Familiarity with third-party integrations commonly used alongside GoHighLevel such as Zapier or Make
- Knowledge of marketing automation principles, lead nurturing, and client lifecycle management
- Experience building SOPs and training documentation for CRM workflows and processes
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously without losing accuracy or quality
- Background in consulting or advisory roles where guiding clients on technical strategy was a core responsibility
