  1. Serves passengers/ customers in a courteous, efficient, friendly, and professional manner.
  2. Provides assistance with passenger during check -in by reviewing the customer’s information to determine destination, date and time of departure, documents needed, etc.
  3. Provides essential and mandatory announcements to passengers.
  4. Ensures compliance around security and procedural guidelines.
  5. Positively handles off-schedule operations caused by inclement weather while positively influencing a favorable impression of the port and communicating effectively with passengers.
  6. Enforces all Passenger Terminal Security measures.
  7. Supervises port terminal operations, ensuring efficient smooth operations are in place.
  8. Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork within the workforce
  9. Conducts field checks of terminal facilities and surrounding areas daily to ensure they are in clean, safe and proper operating condition;
  10. Conducts daily assessments of work areas for the completion of inspection reports.
  11. Maintains standard of performance and quality of service through routine inspections of passenger and tenant facilities;
  12. Recommends alternative methods of cleaning, scheduling and/or organizing for improvements.
  13. Enforces work quality and safety standards;
  14. Recommends or takes action regarding discipline;
  15. Identifies non-emergency and emergency maintenance needs;
  16. Collaborates with General Facilities Maintenance staff on repairs and reports of inoperable terminal facilities.
  17. Responds to and resolves public/passenger/tenant requests and concerns, particularly in the areas of safety, lost and found and maintenance; and customer complaints.
Qualifications/Requirements
  1. College Graduate; must have at least finished a four (4) year course, preferably Bachelor of Science in Tourism or any business-related courses, or at least 2-3 years relevant working experience in the Customer Service Industry.
  2. Ability and willingness to create a strong sense of teamwork, or drive for results/ improvement, and organizational cohesiveness.
  3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills,
  4. Good presentation and public speaking skills.
  5. Must be able to multitask with a strong sense of urgency to meet the customer needs.
