Surplus Material Sales Specialist (Aircraft Materials)

Job description:

• Plans, organizes, controls, and monitors the selling of surplus/potential surplus aircraft materials/tools of LTP and SixtoOne facilities
• Attends to customer queries and provides quotation within specified lead time
• Checks if requested parts/tools are acceptable for sale based on criteria set by the Company
• Coordinates with Finance to develop and maintain material valuation including TRAX updating
• Handles bidding of selected surplus package including sending of RFQ to recommending of most viable offer
• Administers awarded surplus sales contract
• Performs sales execution including preparation of Sales Orders (S/O), picklist and preparation of documents for shipping (proforma invoice), item tracking, PO tracking and payment tracking
• Prepares sales reports for adhoc sales
• Ensures adherence to company guidelines on material standard valuation, approval matrix, payment and credit terms
• Ensures compliance to regulatory, government and company regulation such as not limited to US Export Compliance, Company compliance and ethical standards, etc.
• Maintains online presence in surplus markets
• Sources and evaluates potential surplus market/partnerships
• Handles warranty claims

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or any related Engineering Field
• At least two (2) years of related work experience involving handling of aircraft materials
• Must have good oral and written communication skills, negotiating skills/abilities
• Awareness of material procedures (planning and shipping)
• Knowledge about C&E trade platforms
• Preferably with pricing experience
• Willing to render overtime if necessary
• Willing to be assign in Pasay City
