Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Finance & Accounting (F&A) Cluster Leader to oversee the end-to-end operations of a high-performing delivery unit composed of 1,000+ FTEs. This leadership role is critical in managing and optimizing finance functions—including Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), and Procure to Pay (P2P)—across multiple geographies and clients.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in global delivery management, client engagement, and shared services/BPO leadership, with a focus on driving operational excellence, process improvement, and strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a multi-tower F&A organization covering R2R, O2C, and P2P processes
  • Manage and develop a team of 1,000+ FTEs, ensuring high performance, engagement, and alignment with business goals
  • Drive operational excellence through rigorous KPI monitoring, SLA adherence, and service delivery improvements
  • Serve as the primary escalation and governance contact for key client relationships, ensuring trust and satisfaction
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to implement automation, analytics, and process optimization strategies
  • Oversee risk management and compliance with global accounting standards, SOX requirements, and internal controls
  • Lead large-scale transitions, ramp-ups, and migrations of new client accounts or service lines
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including HR, IT, Quality, and Finance to align support functions with delivery needs
  • Own the preparation and presentation of business reviews, performance metrics, and financial reports to executive stakeholders
  • Champion talent development, succession planning, and leadership capability building across the F&A cluster

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • (CPA or MBA highly preferred)
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale teams (500+ FTEs; ideally 1,000+)
  • Strong background in shared services, GBS, or BPO operations
  • Demonstrated success in client engagement, service transformation, and P&L management
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and finance automation tools
  • Knowledgeable in global financial standards, SOX compliance, and audit requirements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification (Green Belt or above)
  • Experience working with multinational clients across regions (US, EMEA, APAC)
  • Strong analytical thinking and project management capabilities
  • Change management and transformation leadership experience in a dynamic service environment
