Warehouse Truck Driver

Job Description:

The Warehouse Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods between the warehouse, suppliers, and delivery locations. This role also supports daily warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and ensuring proper handling of inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive company trucks to deliver and pick up goods from warehouses, suppliers, and store locations
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
• Load and unload items safely, following proper handling procedures
• Secure cargo to prevent damage during transportation
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (before and after trips) and report any issues
• Maintain delivery logs, trip reports, and necessary documentation
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies at all times
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and supervisors for delivery schedules
• Assist in warehouse operations such as sorting, packing, and inventory when not on delivery
• Support warehouse tasks when not driving (e.g., packing, sorting, inventory)

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate
• Valid Driver’s License (Restriction 1, 2, or 3 depending on vehicle)
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in warehouse or logistics
• Familiar with local routes and traffic regulations
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
• Willing to assist in warehouse operations when needed
