About the role
We are seeking a talented Business Tax Compliance Coordinator professional to join our dynamic team at The Moment Group. In this full-time role based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's tax compliance and providing strategic tax advisory services to support our continued growth and business objectives.
What you'll be doing- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax, withholding taxes, and other relevant tax submissions
- Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate potential risks
- Provide expert advice and guidance to business stakeholders on the tax implications of commercial transactions, investments, and operational changes
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the accurate recording and reporting of tax-related financial information
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company's tax compliance
- Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, representing the company's interests effectively
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's tax processes and procedures
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in tax compliance and advisory roles, preferably within the Accounting/Taxation industry
- Strong technical knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and regulations
- Proficient in preparing and filing various tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax, and withholding taxes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master's degree in Taxation, would be an advantage
