Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Costing Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented Costing Analyst to support the organization's cost accounting processes, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis. This role is responsible for providing accurate costing information, manufacturing cost analysis, inventory accounting, and financial reporting to enable informed business decisions and drive operational efficiency.
What are the Job Responsibilities?- Prepare and analyze product costing, standard costs, and manufacturing cost reports.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory balances to ensure accurate inventory valuation and accounting records.
- Conduct variance analysis on production, labor, material, and overhead costs, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and manufacturing cost accounting.
- Prepare costing, inventory, and variance analysis reports for management and key stakeholders.
- Maintain and validate costing master data, including material masters, BOMs, routings, and cost centers in SAP.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities through cost analysis and financial projections.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial Finance, and Controllership teams to resolve costing-related concerns.
- Assist in ERP/SAP enhancements, testing activities, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls related to costing and inventory management.
- Accurate and timely product costing and inventory valuation reports.
- Timely completion of costing cycles and inventory reconciliations.
- Comprehensive manufacturing cost and variance analysis reports.
- Cost optimization insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
- Timely submission of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting requirements.
- Accurate maintenance of costing and inventory master data in SAP.
- Compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and accounting standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, RCA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting, or related functions.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
