OPERATIONS SHIFT LEADER

Job Overview

We are looking for Operations Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure the effective execution of processes. The ideal candidate will lead a team, drive operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities on the shift.
• Implements work schedule and ensures that lines adhere to required production quality standards
• Monitors work performance and behavior of Line Leaders and workers and ensure adherence to work standards and company rules
• Lead, train, and mentor team members to achieve performance targets.
• Ensures proper and immediate containment of defective product and abnormal line condition in the work area
• Ensure efficient use of production resources and effective implementations of production systems, standards and policies
• Work collaboratively with Engineers, Line Leaders and Technicians to address abnormal conditions/ problems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of operations and prepare reports for management.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations or supervisory roles
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Knowledge on the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHS 18001
• Proficient in MS Office Applications specifically Microsoft Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
