About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Head of Research & Development (R&D) to lead our innovation and product development efforts in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This executive role will drive the development pipeline, ensure regulatory compliance, and bring high-quality pharmaceutical products from concept to commercialization.

• Lead the overall R&D strategy aligned with business and growth objectives
• Oversee formulation development, analytical development, and product lifecycle management
• Drive innovation in new product development, generics, and/or specialty pharmaceuticals
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, ASEAN guidelines)
• Manage technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing
• Collaborate with regulatory, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure successful product launches
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing R&D teams
• Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resource allocation

• Minimum 10 years of experience in R&D within pharmaceutical companies or pharma-related industries
• Proven leadership experience in pharmaceutical product development and innovation
• Strong knowledge of formulation, analytical methods, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in managing end-to-end product development and commercialization
• Prior experience in a senior leadership role (Director, AVP, SVP, or equivalent)
• Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (PhD preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills
