Finance officer

Job Description

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, presenting findings to senior management for decision-making purposes.
• Assist in the preparation and management of the company’s annual budget, working with department heads to collect data and forecast financial performance.
• Prepare Mandarin budget reports and communicate budgetary information effectively to non-financial managers.
• Prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and accessible for review.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies related to payroll, tax withholding, and employee benefits.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and investment appraisals.
• Offer recommendations to optimize financial processes, reduce costs, and improve financial efficiency across the organization.
• Communicate financial information clearly to clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders in Mandarin languages, ensuring full understanding and compliance with company financial policies.

• Must be excellent in oral, writing and reading skills in Mandarin language.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Ensures financial practices and reporting are transparent, accurate, and compliant with legal standards.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
