JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Clerk supports day-to-day warehouse operations with a focus on administrative and clerical tasks essential to the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of books and other printed materials.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree or relevant vocational training in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Previous experience in warehouse administration, preferably in publishing, media, or logistics.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledgeable in inventory management systems (WMS/QuickBooks) is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments of books and other print materials.
- Update inventory systems to reflect stock levels and discrepancies.
- Prepare and process shipping and receiving documents (e.g., delivery receipts, invoices & bills).
- Encode data into warehouse management software.
- Assist in processing customer orders and internal requests from editorial, marketing, or sales teams.
- Coordinate with production and distribution teams to ensure timely dispatch of materials.
- Organize and file documentation including delivery records, inventory logs, and packing lists.
- Maintain up-to-date databases for audit and reporting purposes.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies in stock records or order fulfillment.
- Provide administrative support during stock audits, re-stocking, and inventory cycle counts.
- Help ensure warehouse compliance with safety and organizational standards.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned at any given time by the Managing Director, Executive Vice President, and President.
