Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Finance Sales Consultant (R&D Tax Incentive) to join a growing advisory firm specializing in the Australian R&D Tax Incentive. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in finance, accounting, or advisory who are looking to transition into a client-facing, revenue-generating role.

You will engage with business clients to help them understand and access government-backed R&D tax incentives, combining your financial knowledge with consultative sales skills. All leads are provided, allowing you to focus on advising, qualifying, and closing rather than prospecting.

Schedule
  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (Must be flexible to work during Sydney business hours)

Responsibilities
  • Lead Conversion: Manage and convert inbound, pre-qualified leads into successful engagements.
  • Financial Analysis: Apply your financial knowledge to understand client structures, expenses, and eligibility for R&D tax claims.
  • Consultative Advising: Clearly explain the financial and tax benefits of the R&D Tax Incentive in a commercial manner.
  • Relationship Management: Build trust with clients by translating technical and legislative concepts into tangible value.
  • Case Progression: Progress from handling straightforward claims to more complex, high-value advisory cases.
  • CRM & Collaboration: Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate with internal tax and advisory teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Requirements
  • Background: Experience in finance, accounting, tax, or advisory is highly preferred.
  • Sales Skills: Proven experience in sales, client advisory, or stakeholder management.
  • Financial Literacy: Strong ability to understand and discuss financial concepts such as costs, tax benefits, and ROI.
  • Regulatory Comfort: Comfortable learning and explaining legislation-based frameworks.
  • Organization: Highly organized and able to manage multiple client conversations simultaneously.
  • Technical Mindset: Naturally analytical with the ability to interpret financial data and identify opportunities.
