Financial Controller

1. Providing leadership, direction and management of the LausGroup Finance.
2. Directing all finance and control functions in the LausGroup.
3. Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and members of the Executive Management Team.
4. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports.
5. Ensures that all Finance Departments are meeting their objectives and are able to discharge of their functions effectively and efficiently.
6. Ensures that accounting systems are properly working as intended and well-maintained, and that accounting databases are well-secured.
7. Develops and implements finance policies, coordinates systems and procedures, and prepares operating data and special reports as required.
8. Performs decision-support activities like group wide financial analysis, strategy formulation, treasury and capital management, risk assessment and management, budgeting and forecasting, etc.
9. Establishes, coordinates and administers, as an integral part of management, an adequate plan for the control of operations including profit planning, programs for capital investing and financing, sales forecasts, expense budgets and cost standards, together with necessary controls and procedures to effectuate the plan.
10. Ensures compliance to requirements of government agencies and other regulatory bodies.
11. Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations.
12. Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
13. Oversees projects related to Finance and handles special assignments.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
2. Preferably a Certified Internal Auditor.
3. With at least 20 – 25 years of relevant work experience.
4. Ability to present material and communicate in writing, in a fluent and logical manner to a range of audiences.
5. Strong leadership skills.
6. Skilled in risk management, operational auditing & in the review of IT or computerized systems.
7. Possesses a valid non-professional driver’s license.
8. Willing to be assigned in San Fernando, Pampanga.
