Wealth Management System Tester

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with background in Wealth Management System to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of wealth management and investment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories related to wealth management applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Validate portfolio management, investment management, trading, account management, and client onboarding functionalities.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Verify calculations related to asset allocation, portfolio valuation, fees, returns, and performance reporting.

• Test investment products such as mutual funds, equities, bonds, ETFs, structured products, and managed portfolios.
• Validate trade lifecycle processes, including order placement, execution, settlement, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
• Verify client reporting, investment statements, and financial dashboards.

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Validate data accuracy across multiple systems and databases.
• Execute backend testing using SQL queries and data reconciliation techniques.
• Verify system integrations with trading platforms, market data providers, and third-party financial systems.

• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and provide testing status updates.

• Ensure testing activities align with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Support release validation, production deployment testing, and post-release verification.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software testing experience.
• Experience testing Wealth Management, Private Banking, Investment Management, Asset Management, or Capital Markets applications.
• Strong understanding of investment products and portfolio management concepts.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Knowledge of defect management and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
