Clinical Instructor for College of Nursing

The Medical University is currently looking for a clinical instructor for the college of nursing.

The Clinical Nursing Instructor is responsible for training nursing students both in the classroom and hospital setting, focusing on the practical application of nursing theories in areas such as medical-surgical, maternity, pediatric, and other clinical units.

• Train nursing students in both the classroom and HOSPITAL ENVIRONMENT in all aspects of patient care.
• Carrying Doctors order MEDICAL-SURGICAL procedure.
• Communicate with students regarding the course objectives and expectations and individual performance both classroom and CLINICAL SETTING.
• Provide learning opportunities within the scope of nursing practice for the students to gain knowledge.
• Skill and experience in the assessment, management and evaluation of patient's problems.
• Appropriately supervises students in the medical, surgical, maternity, pediatric

• Assist students in receiving endorsement/giving of endorsement, charting and administration of medications.
• Performs both independent and dependent nursing care with the students.
• Performs monitoring and supervision of both the students and patients assigned in the Clinical area.
• Foster the student's ability to develop an effective therapeutic relationships with patient's & families.
• Implements nursing process during the whole clinical rotation.
• Teach and demonstrate to students the rational basis for clinical decision making from assessment to diagnosis and nursing approach, based on the best evidence available, collaborate with the members of the health team regarding proper care and management.
