ASSOCIATE COUNSEL / Legal Assistant

Job Description:

• Reports directly to the VP-Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.
• Prepares pleadings for submission in Court or government offices.
• Research and documentation of legal concerns and queries.
• Monitoring the status of legal cases, internal and external (coordination with status of cases referred to external counsel).
• Contract review as requested by various departments.
• Drafting of legal correspondence.
• Corporate housekeeping (drafting and monitoring of Secretary's Certificates, Minutes of Meeting for CBDI group of companies, drafting of GIS and other SEC requirements).
• Assists in due diligence of transactions.
• Assists HRD in disciplinary proceedings, both internal and external (NLRC and DOLE hearings).

Job Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws graduate.
• Must have passed the Philippine Bar Exam.
• With experience in law office or legal environment.
• Willing to work in MAKATI.
