Our client is seeking a skilled WordPress Web Developer to help build and launch this platform. You'll work directly with the business owner, enjoy creative freedom, and play a key role in shaping the company’s digital presence. This role blends creative design with technical implementation and has the potential to grow into a full-time position as the platform expands.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a new WordPress website that delivers an outstanding learning experience
- Create engaging, user-friendly web designs aligned with educational goals
- Build and optimize website structure and navigation to enhance engagement
- Implement responsive design for seamless access across all devices
- Collaborate directly with the business owner to bring the digital vision to life
- Maintain and optimize website performance and user experience
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of proven WordPress development experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design capabilities
- Excellent knowledge of the WordPress platform and best practices
- Strong English communication skills
- Availability to work UK afternoon hours, Monday to Friday
- Experience with educational or e-learning platforms is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Passionate about education and online learning
