We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid refills.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems.
Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles run smoothly and meet performance standards.
Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
Ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with safety regulations and manufacturer standards.
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding repair needs and costs.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Completion of a vocational training program or technical certification in automotive repair (preferred).
2+ years of proven experience as a mechanic or automotive technician.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy parts and work in a physically demanding environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license (required).
