As an Accountant, you'll take charge of the financial reporting process for community associations, collaborating with a U.S.-based team. You'll review monthly statements, reconcile CAM accounts, and contribute to budgeting efforts-all while supporting innovations that transform real estate accounting operations.

- Minimum 1-3 years of business accounting experience
- Excellent English-language communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent educational credentials with a focus on accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is a plus
- Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards
- High comfort level with technology, especially web-based software and platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment producing high-quality results
- Can easily build rapport with team members, other staff, clients, and service providers
- Assume ownership of the reconciliation process for CAM buildings/portfolios
- Summarize financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports
- Review monthly financial statements for CAM buildings/portfolios
- Handle direct financial reporting for community associations, including reconciliations and preparation of monthly reporting packets
- Collaborate with the Chicago-based accounting team to reconcile and report on CAM and corporate accounts
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Assist in the onboarding of new community associations
- Answer questions related to accounting procedures
- Assist in ongoing improvements to accounting and operations processes
