An established Australian accounting firm is seeking an experienced AU Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This is a dayshift role aligned with Australian business hours, offering long-term career growth within a structured firm environment.

Required Experience

Minimum 4+ years of Australian bookkeeping experience
4+ years of BAS/IAS preparation and lodgement
Strong payroll processing experience using Xero
Experience with Tanda (advantageous but not essential)
Advanced proficiency in Xero (client files and practice/tax software)
Experience working directly with an Australian-based manager or partner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Karbon (preferred but not required)

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end bookkeeping for Australian SME clients
BAS and IAS preparation
Payroll processing and compliance
Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Accounts payable and receivable management
Direct reporting to Australian senior accountants/partners
