Accounting assistant

Job Description

• Checks the correctness of various requests for invoice and attachments.
• Prepares various invoice, statement of account and debit/credit memo.
• Prepares monthly Schedule of Accounts Receivable.
• Follow-up status of submitted billings to clients.
• Ensures all invoice/billings are collected on time based on the given terms.
• Responsible for the immediate deposit of all collections within the day.
• Requests and follow-up the issuance of BIR Certificate 2307 from clients on taxes withheld from their payments.
• Records on a regular basis all issued invoice on Income Book.
• Records on a regular basis all issued Official Receipt on Cash Receipt Book.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reports on Output Vat.
• Prepare and update various schedules and subsidiary ledgers on assigned accounts.
• Engage in mid-year and annual physical inventory of stocks at warehouse and stockroom.
• Maintain, update and monitor various accounting database.
• File and encode various documents and reports.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office applications
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations
• Ability to assess financial data and ensure accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and reporting
• With Billing and Collection experience is an advantage
• Newly graduates are welcome
