What is the job?
The Fundraising Data Analyst is responsible in delivering data analysis and operational support to drive fundraising strategy and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and interprets portfolio and pipeline reports to drive actionable insights
- Creates dashboards and reporting tools to track performance metrics
- Conducts ad hoc analysis on donor segments, campaigns, and market data
- Prepares materials for leadership and donor engagement activities
- Analyzes donor history and wealth data to prioritize outreach and identify major gift prospects
- Ensures data accuracy, conducts audits, and maintains donor records for compliance and consistency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or operations support roles.
- Experience working with donor databases or CRM platforms (e.g., Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or similar).
- Experience in Excel and/or database query tools.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and data management.
- Familiarity with wealth screening tools and prospect research methodologies.
