QA Automation Engineer (Selenium + NodeJS/Python)

Job Description

You will work closely with developers, scrum masters, and stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in Sprint Planning meetings and prepare test strategies for each sprint cycle.
• Create detailed test plans and implement test automation where applicable.
• Track, monitor, and report test coverage and quality metrics.
• Develop and enhance testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Execute functional test cases and log defects in the issue tracking system.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for web-based applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for API testing.
• Organize, prioritize, and triage defects with development teams.
• Provide accurate test status updates and quality reports to the Manager and Scrum Master.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in Test Automation.
• Strong experience with Selenium automation framework.
• Proficiency in either:
• NodeJS (preferred for certain projects), or
• Python (preferred for certain projects)
• Experience in web application and API testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Experience with AI-assisted software testing tools.
• Certifications such as:
• Generative AI Tester (Professional)
• AI Practitioner (Foundational)
