o Implements wellness programs by coordinating with various departments to help ensure work life balance within the company.o Provides regular health advisory by getting materials through DOH website to promote health awareness and prevention to all employees.
o Assist employees with illness by coordinating with the Company Doctor and HMO to provide the right medical attention needed by the employees.
o Attends to employees with common sickness like fever, flu, headache, and the like by dispensing medicines to provide immediate relief to the employees while at work.
o Prepares monthly consumption report of medicines and first aid supplies by doing regular inventory to be submitted to HRD Supervisor prior to approval of replenishment.
o Review the pre-employment medical results of the applicants by checking the authenticity of the results to ensure physical fitness to the job.
o Assist employees with their medical benefits by coordinating with SSS, Philhealth, and HMO to ensure that the employees optimize the use of these benefits.
o Monitor HMO benefit package by analyzing employees’ utilization report to optimize use of the benefit and serves as basis for future agreement with the HMO.
Occupational Safety and Health
o Attends to work related injuries in the workplace by providing first aid treatment and coordinates with the Company Doctor and HMO for appropriate handling of the case especially in emergency cases.o Recommends workplace improvement by visiting facilities and warehouses to ensure company’s compliance with the labor standards and employee’s safety and health.
o Conducts first aid training by the use of skill building exercise to ensure employees preparedness for emergency health concerns.
o Serves as the Safety Officer of the company.
Record-keeping
o Tracks sickness statistics within the company by collating all records of accidents, injuries, and illnesses to serve as basis for creation of wellness programs and trainings.o Submit Annual Medical Report to DOLE by gathering all facts from SSS and EC Illness/ Accident Report to comply with labor requirement.
o Updates the record of all employees covered by the HMO with the approval of the HRD Supervisor by checking the list of active, regular and resigned employees to ensure benefits are given properly.
o Acts as coordinator of the group life insurance of the employees provided by the company by assisting the employee and/or beneficiaries in the processing of claims with the insurance company to avail their benefits easily.
o Updates the list of employees covered by the group life insurance by seeking approval with the HR Supervisor on the additional and/or withdrawal of members from the group life insurance.
Otherso Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
