About the role
The HR Security & Compliance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance with security protocols and labor regulations across project sites. This role involves coordinating with third-party security providers, preparing engagement documents and reports, conducting site inspections, and ensuring guard compliance.The specialist also assists in managing vehicular incident cases, including insurance coordination and documentation, and supports HR in issuing disciplinary notices and aligning with updated labor guidelines. This position requires regular fieldwork and collaboration with security agencies, insurance companies, and government offices to uphold safety, compliance, and HR standards.
What you'll be doing- Security Coordination and Compliance
- Coordinate with security agencies regarding deployment, rotation, and other compliance matters across project sites.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to security protocols, guidelines, and contracts by third-party security providers.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect guard presence, performance, and overall compliance with company security standards.
- Documentation and Contract Management
- Prepare formal documents, including Notice to Proceed, Notice to Pull-Out, engagement letters, and draft contracts related to security services.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of all security-related contracts, agreements, and correspondences.
- Labor and Legal Compliance
- Monitor and provide regular updates on labor regulations, DOLE issuances, and other relevant government guidelines affecting employment and security arrangements.
- Assist in drafting and issuing HR-related notices such as Incident Reports, Notice to Explain (NTE), and Notice of Decision (NOD).
- Accident Support and Insurance Coordination
- Assist in managing vehicular accident cases involving company vehicles, including documentation and coordination with affected parties.
- Liaise with insurance companies to follow up on third-party claims and ensure timely processing and resolution.
- Support the legal and compliance team in gathering required documents and ensuring due process is followed.
- Government Liaison
- Represent the company, when needed, in dealings with government agencies such as DOLE, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, or LGUs for concerns related to HR security and compliance.
- General HR Support
- Assist in other HR-related functions or administrative tasks as may be assigned by management, including audits, employee relations, and compliance tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, criminology, law, or relevant field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in HR compliance, overseeing security engagement, or liaison with agencies such as DOLE, insurance providers, or LGUs
- Experience in drafting formal HR/security notices, contracts, and incident reports and documentation
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Attention to detail and ability to handle formal documentation
- Analytical mindset and comfort with labor guidelines/regulatory updates
- Confidence in site visits and coordination with third parties (security agencies, insurance companies, government authorities)
- Basic understanding of the insurance claims process and vehicular accident incident handling
