Job Summary
The Advanced Mathematics Instructor is responsible for delivering specialized mathematical instruction to Senior High School learners, focusing on higher-level concepts, analytical thinking, and real-world problem-solving applications. The subject covers topics such as complex numbers, statistics, number theory, matrices and systems of equations, vectors, conic sections, and 3-dimensional geometry, with additional interdisciplinary and advanced mathematical applications.The role aims to develop students’ quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and readiness for STEM-related courses and careers.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of advanced mathematical concepts and applications
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficient in preparing lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or handling mathematics-related subjects is an advantage
- Ability to integrate technology and practical applications into instruction
- Passion for teaching and developing students’ analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deliver engaging and learner-centered instruction in Advanced Mathematics
- Discuss and facilitate topics including statistics, vectors, matrices, conic sections, number theory, and related advanced mathematical concepts
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, projects, and instructional materials aligned with curriculum standards
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback
- Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative learning
- Integrate real-world applications and interdisciplinary approaches into lessons
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Participate in academic meetings, school activities, and professional development programs
