The Solar Fabricator is responsible for assembling and fabricating solar panels and related components according to technical specifications and quality standards. This role involves manual and semi-automated processes to ensure the efficient production of durable and high-performance photovoltaic (PV) modules.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

• Assemble solar panels using hand tools, power tools, and machinery as per design and assembly instructions
• Cut, shape, and align solar cells, glass panels, back sheets and frames
• Inspect raw materials and components for defects or quality issues before fabrication
• Perform soldering and wiring of solar cells or junction boxes
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment and machines
• Conduct basic testing on fabricated panels to ensure functionality and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the fabrication work area.
• Adhere to safety and environmental protocols in the handling of equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to resolve production issues.
• Document production output, materials used, and any discrepancies or issues encountered.

• High school diploma or vocational course in electronics, mechanical, or related field
• Prior experience in manufacturing or fabrication, preferably in electronics or solar industry
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and soldering techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or assembly instructions
• Willing to do field work.
• The incumbent will be under project-based contract for 3 months
