Job Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide Level 1 and 2 technical support to end-users. This role is vital in ensuring seamless IT operations across the organization through efficient device configuration, user support, asset management, and enforcement of basic security measures.If you’re passionate about helping others, solving technical issues, and maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment, we’d love to meet you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to internal users via phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and other user-facing technologies.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain IT devices such as laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Perform user account management including onboarding, offboarding, password resets, and access control.
- Maintain an up-to-date IT asset inventory, including tracking, assigning, and decommissioning devices.
- Support endpoint management activities, including updates, patch management, and compliance checks.
- Assist in enforcing basic IT security policies, including antivirus deployment, device encryption, and user awareness.
- Collaborate with other teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures for knowledge base and reporting purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment.
- Strong understanding of Windows/Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise applications.
- Experience with device deployment and configuration tools.
- Familiarity with IT asset management systems and ticketing tools.
- Knowledge of endpoint management and basic cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Strong customer service mindset with a desire to help and educate users.
