- Analyzes sales performance and current market situation for formulation of other action plans in the event of unexpected and anticipated low sales activity periods
- Builds relationships with clients to encourage expansion and repeat or replication of transactions and new business opportunities by maintaining a high-level client satisfaction
- Ensures that customer accounts are dealt in a timely and efficient manner, addressing any problems that may arise
- Develops accounts, builds regular business, and encourages any new business leads
- Develops and maintains effective business relationships and/or close working practices within relevant departments of account customers within a designated area especially operations, business development and sales departments to secure optimum sales volume of profitable contracts
- Assists in preparing and recommending value added services that could be offered to customers to further strengthen our relationship with them and gain additional revenue
- Ensures that all procedures are completed and that quality standards are met; and suggests any changes that may enhance or improve both the working practices and the quality of the products/services
- Supervises the Business Development Support Officers in their daily tasks
- Delivers complete, accurate, and timely report and analysis
- Generates business plans to define sales strategies and tactics
