Job Description:
Need Ink Sales & Services is currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented R&D Technical Officer to support product innovation by conducting research, developing and testing printer technologies and consumables, and improving product performance through technical analysis and collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and development on printer technologies (inkjet, laser, thermal).
- Develop and improve printers, components, and consumables (ink, toner, cartridges).
- Support design, engineering, and prototype development.
- Perform testing (functionality, durability, print quality, and life-cycle).
- Optimize print quality (color accuracy, alignment, defect troubleshooting).
- Coordinate with firmware/software teams for system functionality and compatibility.
- Evaluate materials, consumables, and supplier components.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
- Troubleshoot product issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and cost optimization.
About You:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2–5 years relevant experience in printer R&D, servicing, or product development.
- Solid knowledge of printer technologies, components, and consumables (ink, toner, media).
- Experience in electromechanical systems, testing, troubleshooting, and analysis.
- Basic engineering design skills with CAD familiarity (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Understanding of firmware, drivers, connectivity, and system integration.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and technical documentation processes.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
