About the role

Join the ACCIONA - CMS JV team as a Cost Control Engineer based in Floridablanca Pampanga. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the costs and financial aspects of large-scale civil engineering projects, ensuring the efficient and profitable delivery of these strategically important initiatives.

• Developing and maintaining detailed cost control systems to monitor project expenditures
• Preparing cost reports, forecasts, and analysis to provide financial oversight and support project managers
• Identifying cost savings opportunities and implementing measures to optimise project budgets
• Liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather financial data and resolve cost-related issues
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry regulations
• Providing strategic cost advice to support bidding, tendering, and project planning activities

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a cost control or quantity surveying role in the construction industry
• Proficient in the use of cost control software and spreadsheet applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with construction contracts, budgeting, and financial management principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
