Quezon City - Accounts Payable Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business Management, or related field
• At least 2 to 4 years experience in accounts payable or a related financial role
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Familiarity in accounting standard and tax regulation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable unit
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Review invoices for proper documentation and approval
• Manage and mentor team of AP analyst, helping them meet performance targets
• Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve queries and disputes
• Prepare and present reports on accounts payable metrics and performance
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions. Resolve discrepancies and issues related to vendor accounts
• Ensure compliance with tax regulation, accounting standards and company policies
• Identify areas for improvements and implement best practices. Assist in the development and implementation of AP policies and procedures
