Qualifications

• Relevant educational background
• At least 2-3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, finance operations, or a similar financial role
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Professional and courteous phone etiquette
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude

• Generate accurate invoices based on contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements
• Create deposit invoices for upfront or partial payments before the delivery of goods or services
• Process credit adjustments in billing systems and ensure accurate financial records
• Review and validate billing amounts, tax calculations, and client information for accuracy
• Upload invoices through client-specific billing portals
• Send invoices to clients promptly with accurate formatting, required attachments, and complete billing information
• Maintain complete billing documentation to support audit and compliance requirements
• Record clear and timely job notes, providing regular updates when billing issues arise
• Respond professionally to customer billing inquiries and resolve issues within agreed timelines
• Provide billing support across multiple states while ensuring compliance with regional requirements
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies by coordinating with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and state service teams
• Update and maintain customer records, including client addresses and contact information, across multiple databases
• Perform other duties and administrative tasks as assigned
