Quality control - Quezon City
About the role
As a Quality Control professional at the Shoppers' Group of Companies, you will play a vital role in ensuring the consistent quality and safety of our products. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this full-time position is based in our Dalandanan, Valenzuela City facility, where you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining rigorous quality control measures across our manufacturing processes.
What you'll be doing- Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to identify and address any quality issues
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures, standards, and protocols to meet or exceed industry regulations and customer requirements
- Analysing quality data, identifying trends, and recommending process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support quality assurance efforts
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, methods, and tools
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret quality metrics and trends
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
