Part Time Cost Estimator

Solidmax Construction Corp. is looking for a Part-time Cost Estimator to support our estimating and bidding activities. The selected candidate will assist in preparing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, Programs of Work (POW), and Detailed Unit Price Analysis (DUPA) for construction projects.

• Prepare and assist in reviewing cost estimates for construction projects.
• Prepare Programs of Work (POW), Detailed Unit Price Analysis (DUPA), Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and other bidding-related documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs based on plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Work closely with the project team in developing project budgets and estimates.
• Provide recommendations and share knowledge on estimating practices and bidding requirements when applicable.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or bidding-related work.
• Familiarity with POW, DUPA, BOQ, quantity take-offs, and bidding documents.
• Able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Available on a part-time basis and can start immediately.
