language and basic API Testing experience

 I.  JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures that business requirement specification are analyzed and understood properly

and able to translate into functional specifications and test cases.

Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development

procedures used to verify if programs are functioning according to user requirements and

conform to established guidelines.

Ensures that the system is released conforming to the functions and requirements set

and agreed by the customer and development, supported by the Test Summary Report

and/or Acceptance Test Certificate.

Collaborates with Senior Quality Analyst in applying knowledge and experience to mostly

routine situations; application of working or functional knowledge and capability in a

particular process or method;

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. QA Process Knowledge

1. Understand and comply with the defined and agreed Software Development

1. Understands various approaches used in testing such as System,

1. Able to apply appropriate test design techniques in writing Test Cases.
2. Creates test plan and test effort estimation for small to medium sized

1. Reviews Test Cases and Test Scripts written by Manual Quality Analyst I.

1. Writes Test Cases and Test Scripts, Creates Test Data and Requirement

1. Properly executes the given test cases / test scripts, identifies the correct

behavior of the system under test, replicates and reports uncovered

1. Tests and certifies software defect fixes and new functionality. Executes

1. Writes clear and precise defect reports as required for identified software

1. Writes and submits Test Summary Report and/or Test Acceptance

1. Collaborates with Senior Manual Quality Analyst in Peer Review of the RTM,

1. Reviews and analyzes test results and makes recommendations.
2. Enforces quality procedures and guidelines across the Software

1. Contributes to the continuous improvement of the QA procedures and

1. Satisfy customer by providing clear testing specifications and quality

1. Exhibits confidence in understanding the business concerns and provides

1. Administrative

1. Records activities in ATLAS and reports/elevates issues to superior when

1. Conducts needed audit to ensure compliance to the procedures in CMMI;
2. Prepares and submits of needed reports;
3. Mentors and guides Quality Analyst I.

1. Closely coordinates with other team members of the applications

1. Facilitates effective team interaction adhering to the values of the company

IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The candidate must have:

obtained a Bachelor's or College degree in either of the following - Industrial

Information Technology and/or related field.

at least three to four (3-4) years working experience in Quality Assurance and/or

Must have an in-depth understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA

methodologies and SDLC (both Waterfall and Agile Development).

Exposure in business operations related to manufacturing, distribution and

financial operations will be an advantage

A competitive analytical and problem solving skills and advanced communicative

Detail Oriented and good time management skills

Readiness to travel to other sites
