US Audit Manager | Hybrid | 20% Night Differential

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join one of our clients. In this role, you will lead audit engagements from planning through final wrap-up, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient execution of the audit process. You will work closely with clients, supervise audit staff, and drive engagements forward while maintaining professional standards and deadlines.
This role is ideal for someone confident in managing the full audit lifecycle, mentoring team members, and delivering partner-ready audit files. Exposure to specialized audit areas such as equity and share-based compensation, PCAOB, 401(k), or GASB engagements will be highly valued but is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Manage audit engagements independently from planning to completion
- Perform risk assessments and identify significant accounts and key audit areas
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of 2–4 audit staff members
- Communicate directly with clients regarding audit requests, timelines, and issues
- Identify and resolve audit issues throughout the engagement
- Review workpapers and ensure delivery of complete, partner-ready audit files
- Perform and review audit procedures related to equity and share-based compensation
- Ensure compliance with applicable professional standards and firm methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Extensive audit experience, preferably within a public accounting firm
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Proven experience managing full audit engagements from planning to wrap-up
- Experience supervising and mentoring audit staff
- Strong knowledge of audit planning, risk assessment, and audit procedures
- Excellent client communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work night shift and hybrid setup
