IT Project Manager

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager collaborates across departments and vendors to implement solutions that support digital transformation and operational efficiency in meat distribution logistics.

• Develops and executes comprehensive project protocols, plans, business requirements, timelines, budget, migration and resource allocations for IT projects (Waterfall or Agile) across infrastructure, business process, enterprise applications, and cloud/non-cloud platforms. Defines deliverables and milestones, ensuring alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations. Leads coordination across departments including internal IT, business units, and external entity to secure cooperation, ensure clarity of goals and project accomplishment.
• Manages progress tracking, risk identification, and timely escalation to ensure project continuity. Provides regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders, documenting changes in scope, cost, or scheduling.
• Oversees IT projects and system integration rollouts including but not limited to server and storage upgrades, application, software development network cabling, switch/router setup, cloud platform and its services (AWS, Azure) and CCTV,
• Coordinates deployment of secure all project needs including but not limited to user access systems and support. Ensures that system implementation aligns with IT compliance, standards, and operational uptime requirements.
• Works closely with vendors and internal teams to supervise installations and validate technical deliverables. Tracks asset deployment and ensures proper documentation of as-built diagrams and configurations.
• Coordinates efforts and ensures that deployments follow best practices on scalability, backup, monitoring, and security. Oversees project delivery timelines for cloud-based services and integrations with on-premise systems. Collaborates with different teams to implement governance, policies, and incident response readiness. Ensures that cost forecasts and consumption are aligned with the allocated budget.
• Facilitates post-implementation reviews to gather feedback, analyze performance against KPIs, and apply lessons learned. Identifies gaps and inefficiencies in IT service delivery, infrastructure usage, and system adoption across the company. Recommends process enhancements and governance measures to improve system reliability, uptime, and project success rates.
• Drives standardization of project documentation, change control processes, and vendor management practices. Supports IT leadership in portfolio planning, budgeting, and capacity forecasting for ongoing and future initiatives.
• Leads the identification, justification, and proposal of at least high-impact initiative, focused on business automation, IT efficiency, or operational improvement. Conducts needs assessments in collaboration with stakeholders across departments, identifying areas where process gaps or inefficiencies hinder growth. Develops project charters and cost-benefit analyses to gain management approval. Ensures that selected projects contribute measurable improvements to operations, service delivery, or scalability. Manages the full lifecycle of the initiative from planning to post-implementation evaluation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related 4-year course.
• Familiarity with industry certifications such as PMP and ITIL (preferred).
• Specialization in Project Management, IT Infrastructure, ERP, and Systems Integration.
• 1–4 years of work experience in IT, Project Management, and support functions within FMCG or similar dynamic industries.
• Proficient in IT project management, using tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, and Trello; familiar with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Skilled in infrastructure support, including Windows Server, networking (VPN, DNS, VLAN), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and ERP systems (NetSuite).
• Experienced in technical documentation, system integration (ERP, WMS, TMS), and basic security monitoring and compliance practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, effectively working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrates problem-solving, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic settings.
• Highly adaptable and customer-oriented, with a continuous learning mindset and focus on delivering results.
