What does a day in the life of a Business Intelligence Developer I look like?- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using business intelligence tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide accurate and timely insights
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular data validation and reconciliation
- Analyze complex business problems and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure business performance
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports
- Collaborate with other departments to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively present complex data
- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create compelling and informative visual representations of data
- Customize dashboards to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders and departments
- Train end-users on accessing and interpreting dashboards for informed decision-making
- Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing data governance policies and procedures
- Develop and implement data management strategies to maintain data accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, storage, and access
- Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and align data analysis efforts with business objectives
- Communicate complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support on data-driven decision-makin
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs
- Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
- 1-2 years of BID experience for the tier I level
- 2-3 years of BID experience for the tier II level
- Previous experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably in the call center environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field preferred
