Laboratory Head

The Laboratory Head is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the geotechnical laboratory. This role ensures the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of soil testing activities while leading the laboratory technician and coordinating closely with internal departments, key personnel, and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, preferably with a license but not required
• 2-5 years of experience in geotechnical and soil testing
• With prior supervisory or managerial roles in a geotechnical laboratory
• Hands-on experience in soil exploration
• Strong knowledge of soil testing methods (routine tests, soil strength tests, soil mechanics testing)
• Proficient in interpreting geotechnical data, borehole logs, and preparing laboratory reports
• Must be familiar with DPWH Department Order No. 75 and its application in laboratory procedures
• Skilled in equipment calibration, maintenance, and quality control
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Excellent documentation and analytical abilities
