Farmesa Asia Pacific Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Management Officer, who will be primarily responsible for (i) carrying out and implementing the Food Safety Management System and standards followed by the Company, and (ii) being the lead appointed member of the Internal Food Safety Audit Team of our manufacturing facility in the Philippines.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Quality Management Officer include:

• Assist in the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and maintain all controlled documents within the plant, ensuring accuracy, proper version control, compliance, and timely distribution.
• Coordinate with various departments to support the effective implementation of the Quality Management System.
• Support the preparation, coordination, and execution of internal and external audits.
• Participate in the investigation of quality and food safety related deviations and assist in the implementation and monitoring of Corrective and Preventive Actions to ensure sustained compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across quality, safety and operational processes.
• Conduct training sessions on food safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Serve as the Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and ensure the plant’s compliance with environmental regulations and requirements.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and related food safety programs and activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or any related Science field is preferred.
• At least two (2) years of relevant work experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Technically equipped with HACCP, FSSC v6 and other food safety requirements
• The candidate MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Management Officer in a Food Manufacturing set-up.
• Knowledgeable with quality standards, government regulations, safety procedures and hazards control.
• Have attended series of food safety trainings related to FSSC v6, HACCP, GMP, Sanitation and Pest control.
• The candidate must possess good leadership skills, time management, planning and detail-oriented and must be fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Preferably residing in Malvar Batangas or nearby cities. Must be amenable to work and report in our plant in Malvar, Batangas, from 8 am to 5 pm.
