About the Role
Australian Outsource Desk Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Civil Estimator with proven experience in Australian residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of Australian construction standards and be confident in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates for Australian residential and commercial construction projects.
- Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare competitive tender submissions within project deadlines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and suppliers throughout the estimating process.
- Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation.
- Minimum of 2 years of Australian estimating experience in residential and commercial construction is required.
- Experience using Cubit or similar estimating software.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, construction methods, and estimating practices.
- Excellent ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Willing to work onsite in Angeles City, Pampanga.
- Available to start immediately.
